Meet the Coaches
Andrea Hudson "Coach Pooh"
Andrea Hudson is the Owner, Co-Director and, Head Coach of Cheer Image Iconz, LLC a community-based competitive recreational cheer program. Andrea has been coaching cheerleading for 22 years, which includes coaching for PENN State University - Shenango Campus, Warren Western Reserve Jr. High School, Tri-County All-Stars in OH & PA, the Warren Little Panthers, Parma City Schools and Cheer Image ICONZ.
Over the course of her coaching career, Andrea has successfully coached over 450 athletes. She holds multiple National Championship titles in the sport of cheerleading. Andrea has an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Accounting. Andrea holds certifications in CPR/First Aid, Concessions in Sports-What You Need to Know, Engaging Effectively with Parents, and Youth Mental Health First Aid. She also holds a Pupil Activity Permit to Coach in the State of Ohio.
Andrea received the “2017 Lady of Legacy Award” from Limitless Ambition, Inc. in Akron, OH. Limitless Ambition, Inc. uses creative approaches to help girls and young women overcome boundaries to their success. Andrea was also recognized by the Trumbull County Commissioners office in 2017 for her volunteer work with the Cheer Image Iconz Program.
In 2020, Andrea was honored with Congressional Recognition from the US House of Representatives for her services within the community. Andrea is also the recipient of the 2020 YBI’s (Youngstown Business Incubator) Women in Entrepreneurship’s We Launch Grant. WE LAUNCH is a 10-week program which aims to teach women the fundamentals of launching their products and services into the marketplace.
In 2022, Cheer Image Iconz, LLC received a Resolution from the City of Warren and the Warren City Council for the services it provides for the youth within the community. In October of 2022, Andrea was presented with the Cassydy Coleman Philanthropist Award during the 2022 Daytime Hyer Magazine Award Show in Cleveland, OH. Andrea also received the Community Service Award from Swag Sisters, in November 2022. Andrea also received the Community Service Award from the Trumbull County A. Philip Randolph Institute in January 2023.
Andrea is also a member of several organizations, including United States All Star Federation (USASF), and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Andrea is a former Certified Community Health Worker for the State of Ohio. She is a wife and mother of three wonderful children.
Mickol Franklin "Coach Mickol"
Mickol Franklin is heading into her 15th season as the Co-Director of Cheer Image Iconz. Mickol has successfully coached over 150+ athletes.
Mickol is a graduate from Youngstown State University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. During her career as a fitness educator, Mickol taught pre-school children 18 months - school age with Gymsters, a large motor development program that comes to the children at their school. Mickol has taught hand eye coordination, sign language, healthy eating and over all wellness. She has worked with children for over 10+ years.
In 2018, Mickol expanded her work with community youth as the Site Coordinator for Inspiring Minds of Warren, Ohio. A nonprofit organization that focuses on education, college and career readiness, exposure to new experiences, health and wellness and personal development. She is a wonder mother of 3 beautiful daughters.
DeVonte' Parker "Coach D"
DeVonte' Parker, known to his athletes as "Coach D", is the Strength and Conditioning coach for Cheer Image Iconz, LLC. Coach D has been coaching for 6 years making each athlete not only a better athlete physically but mentally.
DeVonte' is a Military Veteran who served 5 years in the United States Army. DeVonte' received his certification as a Dental Assistant and a Dental Laboratory Technician in the U.S. Army.
Kimari Freeman "Coach K"
Kimari Freeman, also known as "Coach K", is a first year coach with Cheer Image Iconz, LLC. Kimari is a 2022 graduate of Warren G. Harding HS and Trumbull Career Technical Center where she obtained her Cosmetology license in the State of Ohio.
Kimari is a former High School Varsity Cheerleader. Kimari is also a five year alumni cheerleader of Cheer Image Iconz.
In Kimari's first year as a coach of Supreme Elite, our Youth Level 1 Team, Kimari has earned 2 National titles and 3 Grand Champion titles. Kimari has been able to connect with her athletes that have not only brought out their very best but increased their confidence level, both on and off the mat.
Kimari is employed as a Beautician at JC Penny in the Eastwood Mall.
